Molly of Denali is an American-Canadian animated television series created and produced by Atomic Cartoons and WGBH Kids for PBS Kids and CBC Television. It premiered on July 15, 2019. The series is the first ever nationally distributed children's show to feature an Alaska Native as the main character and protagonist. Thirty-eight half-hours have been ordered. Between the two 11-minute story segments, there is a special live-action segment filmed in Alaska.

Molly of Denali showcases the life and adventures of 10-year-old Molly Mabray, a Gwich'in / Koyukon / Dena'ina Athabascan girl who lives in the rural Alaskan town of Qyah with her family. Molly and her family run the Denali Trading Post, serving the locals, tourists, trekkers and scientists who pass through. Joined by friends Tooey and Trini and her dog Suki, Molly explores the epically beautiful surroundings and rich Indigenous culture that is home.
This animated series included Indigenous voices in all aspects of production, both in front of the microphone and behind it. Molly of Denali also introduces audiences to informational text curriculum, a literacy concept in which texts such as maps, tables, books, websites, stories and more are used to convey information.
CBC Kids is proud to have produced Molly of Denali in partnership with PBS Kids, and is also proud of the Canadian participation in the series, which is quintessentially a northern show we felt would resonate with Canadian kids and families. There are deep traditional, territorial, family, cultural and linguistic ties between Alaska Natives and many Indigenous peoples within Canada.
The series animation is produced by Vancouver's Atomic Cartoons, who created the lush world and quirky Trading Post where Molly and her family live. The voice talent includes Sovereign Bill as Molly and a majority Canadian cast of Indigenous actors including Sequoia Janvier as Tooey and Lorne Cardinal as Grandpa Nat.
